Limited Product Warranty

At Pacific Horizon Living, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our outdoor living products. This Limited Product Warranty applies to eligible products purchased directly from Pacific Horizon Living and is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined below.

If a covered defect is confirmed, Pacific Horizon Living may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective product or component;
  • Provide a replacement component;
  • Replace the affected product with the same or a reasonably comparable product; or
  • Provide another appropriate remedy as required by applicable law.

The specific remedy will be determined based on the nature of the defect, product availability, and applicable warranty terms.

3. Who Is Covered

This Limited Product Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to products purchased directly from Pacific Horizon Living or an authorized Pacific Horizon Living sales channel.

The warranty is not transferable unless required by applicable law.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

4. Conditions of Coverage

Warranty coverage applies only when the product has been:

  • Properly transported, stored, assembled, installed, operated, and maintained;
  • Installed in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable building, electrical, gas, fire, and safety codes;
  • Used for its intended residential purpose;
  • Maintained using appropriate cleaning and care methods; and
  • Used within the stated wind, snow, load, temperature, and environmental limitations.

Products requiring professional installation must be installed by a properly qualified or licensed contractor where required by applicable law.

5. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Product Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic changes that do not affect product performance;
  • Minor variations in color, texture, finish, grain, dimensions, or appearance;
  • Natural fading, weathering, oxidation, chalking, discoloration, or surface aging;
  • Scratches, dents, chips, stains, corrosion, or damage occurring after delivery;
  • Damage caused by improper installation, assembly, anchoring, wiring, plumbing, gas connection, drainage, or site preparation;
  • Damage caused by installation that does not follow product instructions or applicable codes;
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or attempted repair;
  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, falling objects, animals, pests, vegetation, chemicals, salt, fertilizers, cleaners, or environmental contaminants;
  • Damage caused by fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, hail, hurricane, tornado, extreme wind, excessive snow accumulation, freezing conditions, or other acts of nature;
  • Damage resulting from failure to remove excessive snow, ice, water, debris, or other loads;
  • Damage caused by unstable foundations, soil movement, settlement, drainage conditions, nearby construction, or structural movement of the property;
  • Glass breakage occurring after delivery, unless directly caused by a confirmed manufacturing defect;
  • Batteries, light bulbs, consumable parts, decorative media, fire glass, lava rock, and other consumable materials;
  • Products used commercially, rented, resold, relocated, or installed at a location other than the original installation address, unless otherwise agreed in writing;
  • Labor, removal, reinstallation, permits, engineering, freight, customs duties, access equipment, landscaping restoration, or third-party contractor costs, unless expressly approved in writing by Pacific Horizon Living; or
  • Products purchased from an unauthorized seller.

6. Powder-Coated and Outdoor Finishes

Outdoor finishes naturally change over time due to exposure to sunlight, moisture, salt, pollution, chemicals, and weather conditions.

Minor fading, gloss reduction, color variation, surface chalking, and ordinary weathering are not considered manufacturing defects.

Products installed in coastal, marine, industrial, high-humidity, or chemically exposed environments may require more frequent cleaning and maintenance. Failure to follow recommended care requirements may affect warranty eligibility.

7. Wind, Snow, and Weather Conditions

Published wind, snow, and load ratings are based on specified product configurations, proper installation, suitable foundations, approved anchoring methods, and controlled testing conditions.

Actual performance may vary depending on product size, configuration, enclosure options, installation location, foundation conditions, surrounding structures, local terrain, and weather conditions.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any required permits and approvals;
  • Confirming local building-code requirements;
  • Using appropriate foundations and anchoring systems;
  • Following operating instructions before severe weather; and
  • Removing excessive snow, ice, water, or debris when required.

A product’s wind or snow rating is not a guarantee against damage during every weather event.

8. Third-Party Components

Certain appliances, motors, controls, burners, heaters, lighting systems, and other components may be manufactured by third parties.

These components may be covered exclusively by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Pacific Horizon Living may assist customers with obtaining warranty information, but the component manufacturer may be responsible for evaluating and resolving the claim.

Pacific Horizon Living may request additional photographs, videos, documents, diagnostic information, or an on-site inspection before approving a claim.

Approval of a warranty claim does not automatically include labor, removal, reinstallation, shipping, permits, access equipment, or other incidental expenses unless expressly confirmed in writing.

12. Your Legal Rights

This Limited Product Warranty provides specific contractual rights. You may also have additional rights under the consumer protection laws of your province, state, territory, country, or other jurisdiction.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or replaces any statutory warranty, legal guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
